Grade 5 B

The  5 B class comes to choose their take home library books on Mondays.

They have chosen for me to read the Novel  "Graveyard Shift" by Chris Westwood. A spooky fantasy-adventure in which death is only the beginning!

When Ben Harvester meets the mysterious Mr. October in London's Highgate Cemetery, he has no idea what a strange and dramatic turn his life is about to take but Ben soon discovers that Mr. October works for the Ministry of Pandemonium.

About the  Author: Chris Westwood

He was brought up in a small mining village in West Yorkshire, son of a school teacher and a coal face worker. As a young

 boy he lived in fear that one day he would have to follow his Dad's footsteps down the dark mine (so many of his school friends went that way). But somewhere around the age of eleven, he decided he wanted to be a writer when he grew up.
